Keisuke Hatanaka was born in 1977 and studied ceramics at the Tokoname City Ceramics Research Center, after which he opened his own studio in Tokoname, where he resides. Hatanaka’s work has been featured in a number of exhibitions in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. His featured works will include his signature creation: unique clay vessels that are both inspired by animation and traditional culture.
